OK...back to the video. That was cool but what was the point? Just that common carbonated carpet felt doesn't burn? I missed that and the point of the clay pot with the chimney at the very end.

I was most fascinated that vegetable oil burns. I mean, I know it burns...I've cooked enough to know that. But I didn't know you could use it like that...wicked up like kerosene. No idea.

How about a double row 2 at 14" wide held between 2 steel plates and sitting in used cooking oil.
Place that in the wood insert in the fireplace.
Could that make enough heat to eliminate wood cutting????
