we are planning on having the fall shop tour at my house in October. Saturday October 8 start at 10 am I have my forge and press going now. I hope to do a canister of mixed bag damascus to weld up. It is odd pieces from cut bars that is put in canister then filled with powdered steel to fill the spaces. Welded to make some exotic mosaic damascus. We will start with this. Hopefully I will have a master mold maker demo how to set your surface grinder to match it with your magnetic table precisely. Other demos open if someone wants to see how to do something. Just call so we can set it up. Due to dinner being catered we need a definite number of those attending. Chairs are always required and I'm trying to get tables for the meal. We do have tail gate sales among members and friends. You do not have to be a. Member to attend. Just interest in knives is our only requirement! Iron-in-the-hat tickets are sold to help maintain our group and functions. Members donate items to put in the iron ticket drawing. We have had steel, handle material, and many other useful items in the drawings. Occasionally even a donated knife from a member. This year we are having a belated 15 year anniversary of our formation. Several of our members were recently at H&H Shooting Sports demoting cutting skills and forging. My cell is 918-290-0372 if you would like to attend. Our physical address is 910146 S 3500 Rd Chandler, Oklahoma actually just about 1/2 mile SW of Davenport..
