Kid Friendly Blue River

I usually fish the blue river solo north of the highway 7 bridge, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any kid friendly sections of the river for trout fishing? Maybe an area that’s shallow that can be fished easily for a 5 year old. I’ve never had much luck at the close to home trout areas, and she gets bored quickly when they don’t bite.

Anywhere near the campsite areas on the south side are all pretty easy for kids. Especially if you’re using natural bait and not artificial.

My kids like fishing at the low water crossing. I think they put more trout in at that spot than anywhere else.
