My first handgun purchase was a Kimber Ultra CDP 45, my pocket gun is a Kimber Raptor380....have never regretted either of these purchases.....no issues, and very handsome to look at. My other EDC choice (depending on clothing, etc. ) is the Hellcat RDP in 9mm. This is becoming my favorite only due to the red dot and 15rd magazine.
Several yrs ago I wanted an EMP but all H&H had was a Kimber Aegis II. Most accurate and reliable 1911 I ever had. We had some financial difficulties in 2009 and I sold it to a member here at OSA. Still miss it.

It’s common knowledge that Kimber has historically had some quality control issues...
I think Kimber is, in this case, like Taurus. Both manufacturers have had quality control issues, bith fixed them, but both are dogged by a reputation that is most likely undeserved for their current lineup.

I would say you might be right if I didn’t know for a fact that Kimber is dealing with a QC issue on a K6. :anyone:
