Most new stuff that gets installed moving forward will be dark sky friendly compliant.

Although it seems ridiculous from some of the installations I've seen where they have to have a light / pole every 25 feet so you see enough to get to the next light / pole

I’ve worked around Alpine Tx. They ask tgat you light as little as possible and be sure lights are all
Pointed at the ground.
