Thought those of us who fish the lake could use this as a way to give fishing reports. Anyone know whether the sand bass have run yet? I was in the Little River last week and fishing was slow. Crappie have been slow as well, at least in the places I’ve been trying.

Caught two 10” crappie in the last 3 weeks.

This morning, about 6” under tilled soil.
Just North a bit from Owasso
Not water temp, but it relates. 😉

Is it safe to eat fish from thunderbird?
Should be fine, in small quantities. Even if it’s on the Mercury advisory list you can still eat a few fish every few months and be fine. Especially if you eat the smaller/younger fish. Just don’t go feeding meal after meal of it to pregnant women or young children haha!

I don’t fish Thunderbird... but I can confirm from a few times I’ve went out other places this spring and the sandbass bite is all messed up! The weather has ‘em all screwy
