ANYONE that thinks they are going to beat the casinos, at gamblings, needs to look at the buildings they build!! I know many people that have literally been distroyed by gambling addiction, I also know many people that have been distyroyed by eating, smoking, drug, sex, hording, working, and sticking beans up their nose, addictions!! I'm not for more government control, so i guess these people are free to do what ever they choose? I guess the lions have to eat the weak, for life to work?

Exactly. I have a buddy that has a gambling addiction. One of the guys I worked with saw him shoving $20 bills into a machine before he hit a $16,000 jackpot. Co-worker asked him how much he put in to win that jackpot.
About $20,000 he was told. A $4000 net loss.
So he put 1000 twenty dollar bills into one machine? I've seen some hardcore slots players but nothing like that.

He quit a refinery job paying $40+ an hour. Cashed out of his $600,000 401K, paid the early withdrawal penalty and lost everything at the casino.
His mother died, leaving him over $1,000,000.
In about 10 years since quitting the refinery, he has lost it all including his paid for $300,000 home, pawned all his guns, tools, etc. for gambling money.
Currently living with his daughter on social security.
Did he sink that $20,000 into one machine? I don’t know as I wasn’t there. I suspect it was that amount of money but spread among multiple machines. Just a typical night at the casino for him apparently.
