Figured since i dont have a buck tagged this year, i better hit the woods this weekend.
Ive killed a couple does and seen tons of bucks, but still havent had opportunity for the shooter,I need some horns!

I'm out right now, but will probably be my last chance. I don't need the meat so don't care enough to fight the wind expected the next few days. I'm only going to make time if my buddy who hasn't got anything yet can get away so I can take him out.

I plan to go the next two mornings. Thankfully, I'm on a lease in Texas and still have through February too.
Haven't seen any shooters this year either.

I passed on a shooter in early November. He was big, but where I hunt there are GIANTS. I regretted it as soon as he walked off. Didn't see him again until after gun season about a month ago, so at least he lived past gun season. Last night I saw 7 does under the stand I wasn't in......... I'm going back out tonight then all day tomorrow.

I'll go out Monday for sure. I have this deer on 3 cams almost every day. Not 1 day pic though. I've hunted pretty hard hoping he makes a mistake. He occasionally shows up with this other deer which I have three early morning pics of. I'll take him as a second choice
