I made it out this weekend and got a few rounds through a Ruger American Predator in .223 I traded for a while back. Finally got it scoped and was sighting it in.

The low shot was all my fault.

I bought my son some Dawson Precision adjustable sights for his CZ75 Phantom. Installed them for him yesterday and we went to Wilshire gun this morning so test. Sights are great and the pistol is a gem. Also loaded up some new 380 loads for my P238 to test out and found a good load that will work and expand the 90 grain XTP's. Max W231(4.0) showed no over pressure signs but the 3.9 groups really well.

I’ve been plinking again today with the little Traditions muzzleloader I bought, and I’m finding it shoots what used to be cheap 230 gr 45 bullets incredibly well out to 50 yards (which is as far as I’ve shot due to the tiny sights on the gun). It definitely should be good enough to kill a pig or deer with at that distance.:thumb:

Yesterday it was nice enough that slipped down to the shop for a little lead slinging...

A load of Winchester Defender (1 oz slug & 3 pellets of 00 buckshot) hit the steel from 21ft. I place a paper target on the gong to see the pattern...

This target was against the backstop...

Slug on the left was recovered from the backstop and the other was the one that impacted the gong...

I finished up with some tac reloads from the saddle, I need work...

I taught an Oklahoma Handgun Licensing class today, and after most of my class had left myself and one of the students stuck around and shot a few El Presidente’s and some dot drills. Got about 50 rounds down range with my carry gun.
