Took my AK 47 and AK 74 in to Wilshire gun. AK74 is ready to bump out to 100 but the 47 needs some sight work. Originally had red dots set up on these but decided I wanted rear peep sights.

funny, I was there today as well. Took the girlfriend and her sister to continue teaching them about handling and owning firearms. Was a great time, even though I didn’t get to shoot much. They’re eager learners.

Last Saturday, I took my 22lr upper out to check my zero at 25 yds and run a magazine and a half through it for fun. Only the 22 cal holes are mine the silhouette target was used by a previous shooter. I shot some pistol, too. The pistol drill was 3 shots at 3yds with a 3sec par time from low ready. The indoor range doesn’t allow drawing from a holster. I repeated the drill three times on a full sheet, half-sheet, and quarter-sheet of 8.5x11 paper for a total of nine repetitions and 27 rounds.

Had the opportunity to go to the gun range today for the first time in seven weeks. Beautiful day with four other fellows who are frequent attendees of our Saturday group. Told them I had been absent from shooting so long that I forgot which way to point the gun before pulling the trigger. That made them keep an eye of me for a while.

One fellow had a cool looking Ruger .22 pistol with a copper colored barrel, red dot sight, and suppressor. Once he shot a few times and had it dialed in he was amazingly accurate and you could barely hear it when he shot.

I stood out there while the other guys were shooting just looking at the beautiful blue sky and thanking God for the beautiful day and how blessed I was to be out there and able to enjoy the relaxation of being with friends and shooting guns. Today's enjoyment will make it easier to get through busy times at work until we can get out to shoot again.

I enjoyed a few rounds out of a CZ75D PCR Compact that a gent sold on here to me yesterday. It is one nice smooth pistol. It was just as flawless as my “miracle” CZ75B I have had a few years.
