Started flinging 50 rounds of 45 ACP through my SA 1911 downrange this morning at right at 0630 and just finished cleaning the gun......as usual that time of day it sure was nice to have the range all to myself.
Went to the range Mon. and Tues. morning and ran 50 rounds each time through my Ruger SR1911 45ACP.......went again this morning and flung 50 rounds at the gongs with my SA 1911.
My plan doesn't seem to be working, because of the way store bought ammo and reloading components are now I swore that in order to cut back on reloading components that I was going to shoot more .22LR this year but so far I haven't taken a .22 rifle or handgun to the range yet......maybe next range trip.
Remington 11-87 20 gauge, 9-22-21 3 shots and on the 23rd 2 shots. I like hunting exotic wildlife, so on the last 2 nights I fired a total of 5 rounds of Remington 2 3/4inch 1 oz number 4 shot and collected 5 trash pandas. I switched to the 11-87 from my CZ SXS 28 because I have more ammo for the 20 than the 28 right now.
Went this morning in the rain and ran another 50 rounds of 45ACP through my SA 1911 at the gongs........not sure how much we've received here so far (nothing like what they've received in the Kingfisher area) but there was a lot of standing water in the low spots on all the ranges.
Was hitting the gongs pretty good and had a good time despite the rain.
