Took the 14-6 out for a spin (spin... revolver...out for a spin....see what I did there ?)

Ran 48 rounds through it, from 10 yds to 25 yds. I wish I could say this was a 25 yd target.

I'm more partial to the 14-4 and older, because the -6 has a full under-lug. Makes it a bit nose heavy.

A 14-3 for comparison -

Going to go out now and pop off a cylinder full of 32 Mag from a S&W 431pd I bought many years ago.

It has been in my Mom's company for probably 10 or 12 years or so.

I always wanted her to shoot it (for fun), but she would not. I did mange to get her to shoot a mod 63 22 about 5 years ago, but she complained about the noise (with hearing protection)! Lol!

Mom left me to go live with JESUS this weekend!

Ok, enough, going out to shoot it for Her!
Praise the LORD she never needed it!!!

Even though rifle season is still a long ways off, today, I checked zero on my pre64 Winchester FWT 270 win, and as usual, it’s still ”on” and a tack driver (with my handloads). I also checked zero on my Alexander Arms 17 hmr AR that I carry as a truck gun, and it was still “on” too.

Just got out with my youngest son a little bit ago. The neighbor came over with his kids and we gave that steel a good beat down...

The newest rifles on the table are the 1985 Marlin 60 (bottom) and the 1970s Rossi 62 SA (3nd from the top)
Some of these rifles are older than any of the shooters and all are older than any of the kids.
