Yesterday morning. Saw her at about 300, shot her at 170.

The shotgun is a Fabarm, and the chokes are marked “super turkey 14/10” (whatever that means).
I tried 2 loads…

32.1 grains Longshot
Remington SP12 wad
CCI 250M primer
1 1/4 oz #6 shot

31 grains Longshot
WAA12F114 wad
Win 209 primer
1 1/4 oz #6 shot
Both patterned well enough to kill a turkey at 25-30 yards.

Tried out some new ammo (to me) today and got some shots. First shot is .223 60 grain soft point 25 yards.

Second pic is standard .223 55 grain FMJ at 25 yards for comparison.

Didn't really expect much difference at this close of range, but had to be sure before I put the ammo into the defensive role. Mainly checking cycling.
