Which OSA members will be going to the Lawton Apache Casino Gun Show this weekend?
Sanford and I will have a vendor table (private collection) for our stuff.
I would ask that any and every OSA member who comes to the show stop by and introduce yourself.

BTW I've heard that the casino and retaurant at the casino are quite nice apart from the Gunshow.

Private carry is pretty well off limits on tribal land since they often don't like recognizing much of anything. The casino's are also a no carry but the convention centers can be setup for most anything and they get to make money off of it.

I can bet it was a ton of hoops to jump through though since it's actually on the Comanche Nation owned land. At one point in time the Apache casino could not be permanent hence the reason why it was a blow up building.

For anyone going, Matt (NavyChief - the show organizer) said that both open and concealed carry are strictly off-limits in the casino area at all times. The event center obviously is allowing weapons to be displayed but I believe the semi-lenient attitude in effect at some shows may not be the rule at the Apache Casino Event Center.

Sanford and I are in the main event room, more or less in the middle of the room at the West end of the Red Lake Arms display (they have 3/4 of the entire middle island). Our one-table display has an artillery red tablecloth and printed signs saying "Private Collection".

We'll be there again tomorrow - come on by if you can.
