My grandparents' place has a line of huge, ancient mulberries, so we never parked in the shade while the berries were ripe. My grandma had a maroon '67 T-Bird that my youngest uncle drove while he was in high school. He got in a wreck, and replaced the hood with a white one from a junkyard. It wasn't long before the hood was almost the same color as the rest of the car.
My folks' place has several large mulberries, but they don't bear any fruit. The two great big ones in the middle of the hayfield make up for that by being weak as hell, and drop branches whenever there's a stiff breeze. Yeah, @THAT Gurl isn't allowed out there...
