Interested to hear how this plays out. I live way out in the sticks, never seen a drone out here , but my friend in Dallas has a few buzz his house every now and then. Discharge of a weapon in city limits anyone?

From the article - "According to the FAA, damaging or destroying a drone is a federal crime because drones are classified as aircraft. Though the bill would allow shooting one down in a neighborhood or capturing one with a net.

Wonder if this is like marijuana? Feds say it is illegal, yet several States have made it legal. Plays hell with Class D and G airspace huh?

!2 gauge & know where you are shooting
There's too many stupid people. For every one guy using birdshot 25 idiots will be using bubba-fied mosin nagants and their AR's.

Dumb law. It will never pass. Most drone flyers operate within FAA guidlines and respect private property anyways. Not to mention it's a felony to shoot a drone because the FAA deemed drones an aircraft.
