The video showed one of them covering the camera with his hand. Probably a video doorbell connected to a phone by WiFi.

If he would have waited about two seconds, the shots would have been more effective.

I definitely don't want to do home burglar things, not even in the slightest. However I want to be prepared to if it ever happened.

Well, it was tongue-in-cheek. An homage, if you will. To the original reference, it went more like this: Everyone wants to be a SEAL/Delta/Etc until it’s time to do SEAL/Delta/Etc things.

The illustrations being most see all the glamour and glory but very little of the hard work, gore and sacrifice. The tie in being that home burglars want your stuff, but apparently aren’t wanting to be shot at while attempting said taking of your hard-earned items.
