English Scalping Knife - replica commissioned from a guy that does civil war reenactment. I forged it from a land rover coil spring (5160), oil quench, spring temper. weathered look done with muratic acid and boiling vinegar bath. Walnut handle, brass fitings.

Finally got a nice knife.
Picked it up at the gunshow. I've been wanting something like this for a while, but this one didn't want to leave my hand.

My 1st Damascus.

I forgot to take one showing the spine.

It is a custom from Pridgen. I bought it used for a steal. You cannot tell it was ever carried. The only real flaw I can see is the very uneven bevels. I'm sure I can fix that with the wicked edge.soon as I get time.
