These nitto ridge grappler 10plys are tough as nails but pretty heavy. Overkill probably for a 4runner but they balanced out nicely and are pretty quiet on the road

How are they in rain and winter? That’s when I hate a lot of off road tires. I turn, I keep going straight.

I have a set of 285/75-16 load range E, on my 2001 f350 single wheel, and they been good to me.

Could use a bit more off-road traction, but I mostly do street driving.

Dont really care for the extra width going from a 265 to the 285, but wanted a taller tire.

A 265/85-16 would suit me, but it is not a size built!
