Typical Winchester 94 with a "Rick Lowe" sling

I was just checking on a sling yesterday for my nephew - Marlin 30/30 - Question - on recoil does the leather strap affect how it “kicks/recoil feels”? Thanks! Same sling I was thinking of for a gift.

It definitely is. I want a Winchester 94/22 now. Also a Henry big boy case hardened.

Also the leather scabbard they use on horseback.
About an hour or so SW of OKC is a place called Gast Guns and Tack in Carnegie, OK. They have a big selection of horse tack with numerous scabbards. I’ve bought several lever action guns there as well over the years.

Been going round & round on computer . Have not found year MFG. SN 252072XX. Dont known about stock
Usually on the older original Marlins, you subtract the first two digits of the serial number from 2000 to get the year of manufacture, so that would be a 1975 model.
