Yeah, the firing lines were around the prison too....but at least some of the impact zones were in the WMA area. Pretty neat bit of history.

Used to train at the army airfield to the south. Had some fun rides on the old Hueys.

That's my dad's old unit. As a matter of fact, he transferred to the Air Guard at Will Rogers when that unit moved from Max Westheimer in Norman to Lexington. It was too far to drive every day and he wasn't moving.

Yes. They are doing similar projects at other WMAs as well.

I'm not sure what the dollar value is. Our company is helping with drainage design and environmental work at the different locations.

Great pics indeed! Anybody know how many shooters will it accommodate now? Did they widen both ranges?
