I know they have to be registered to own legally.

    So here's my question.

Why can you buy 80% lightening links online? You can't complete it legally.

Or is this for folks in other countries to enjoy, while we remain slaves?

    Ugh.....

    Thanks

I have never seen "80%" links advertised for sale. Beware the ATF has been rumored to runs ads for items that push the envelope for being legal and then use the list of buyers to search and seize. Just a rumor. "Supposedly" they are easy to make out of sawzall blade but who wants 10 years and $10,000 fine? Plenty of diagrams and specs out there

You can buy a flat piece of metal with a diagram painted on it legally, it's what you do with the flat piece of metal that can get you into trouble.
    Best to stay away.

Oh..... I have NO intention of purchasing one. It just does t make sense that they are offered for sale when we can't legally possess them.

have the specs, but haven't bothered to make one so far. i believe they're for semiautomatic BCGs, but i don't see why it wouldn't work with a standard one.

Having specs, drawings, material, and rifle can be construed as "intent". Still 10 years and $10,000. fine.
    Be careful
