I know they have to be registered to own legally.

So here's my question.

Why can you buy 80% lightening links online? You can't complete it legally.

Or is this for folks in other countries to enjoy, while we remain slaves?

I have never seen "80%" links advertised for sale. Beware the ATF has been rumored to runs ads for items that push the envelope for being legal and then use the list of buyers to search and seize. Just a rumor. "Supposedly" they are easy to make out of sawzall blade but who wants 10 years and $10,000 fine? Plenty of diagrams and specs out there

have the specs, but haven't bothered to make one so far. i believe they're for semiautomatic BCGs, but i don't see why it wouldn't work with a standard one.
