I’m getting my cameras ready for the lease and am testing batteries. Energizer ultimate lithium’s. I tested 20 from last year and 8 tested at 1.76, 8 tested at 1.81 and 4 tested at 1.72. I would have thought there would be more of a variance. I’m using a Fluke 88 auto meter. At first I thought it only read in .5 increments but then I got the 1.72 readings. Is it normal for lithium’s to test so evenly unlike regular batteries?

Were there multiples in each cam? Its not uncommon to see voltages level out between batteries in a device.
Not sure, I pulled them out last year and just tossed them in a coffee can. I suppose they could have. I found a cam that I forgot to pull the batteries from and they were all completely dead

I believe so. I try to match voltages as close as possible on my CR123s to get a "matched set" when changing them out. It supposedly helps a lot. Now just how much variance? I don't know what's good and what's not.
