Anyone have suggestions for some local movers for a day. It will be in Shawnee. Just want to get help for a day to get all the heavy stuff moved, then we'll do all the rest ourselves.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I'll check them out. Seems all my family and friends are either down on their backs, bellies are too big, extremely out of shape and likely to get hurt or just "unavailable"........Beer and pizza don't work anymore.

Sounds like they're getting smarter as they get older.

I used 2 men and a truck a few years back, it was $200 for moving all my stuff about 8 miles. I believer I found them on Craigslist.

When we bought the house we were in, the seller was using 2 Men and a Truck and they were doing a good job. I talked to the foreman on the job and told him what I needed (move just large stuff like the OP) and he was able to get it done a little cheaper than 2 Men was going to charge. They worked quickly and efficiently. If you PM me, I will send you the guys phone #. Oh..we are in SE OKC so he would probably be able to help you in Shawnee.

Not sure about smarter....but fatter, more elusive and more out of shape definitely. I have to realize we're all pushing 60 so I guess I can understand.
