Longest time without cleaning a stainless revolver or shotgun that is just sitting in safe ?

what is the longest amount of time someone has gone or known of someone going without cleaning a stainless steel revolver or shotgun that is not being shot but just sitting in the safe?

I’ve gone many years. Make sure you have some sort of humidity control in your safe even if it is just those containers of silica you set in there. Also I heavily oil my guns before long storage

I use Renaissance wax on my guns. I have investment S&W revolvers that haven't been cleaned in over 15 years, some maybe longer.

The last time I cleaned my 870 was after loaning it to my boss in 1995 to go pheasant hunting. I wish I could remember what oil I was using while it is a little thicker than it needs to be the oil is OK after 27 years. It is still curser ready with 5 rounds of #4 buckshot that I put in after I cleaned it.
