Looking 1/4 x 2 x 4 plate steel Tulsa

Just need one piece of 1/4" x 2' x 4' or there abouts of mild pate for a project. Anywhere in Tulsa to find a scrap or bargain?

Might see if you could buy a piece from one of the many fab shops around town.
Seems like the smaller shops are a little more willing to help you out.

Do you have a local scrap yard that buys metals? You might check with them, last time I hauled scrap metal to sell I found 4 half rolls of barbed wire laying in a pile. Asked the guy about buying it, purchased 4 half rolls of good wire for $10 bucks. He stated that was way more than he would get for it scrap steel price. Purchased some diamond plate scrap one time that was 12" x 3' or 4' random lengths for $4 a piece. Made fenders for a couple trailers out of it.

Check with Quikservice Steel on N Peoria. They used to sell scraps and custom cuts.

1/4" thick is thin to you. WOW! and 2 foot by 4 foot is a big heavy piece.

Mis-cuts and scrap pile at quik service steel is where I get my stuff
