They can be beat up to hell as long as they still resemble pins. No idea where I would buy something like this outside of randomly finding it on Craigslist or at a garage sale.

You just have to look around. They are actually harder to find than I thought.

I used to call bowling alleys occasionally, but they never had them or were unwilling to sell them.

I just find them on Facebook Marketplace when I need a few.

I'd say check with bowling alleys, I lucked into some a few years ago because the local alley had just put out new ones, and I got the old ones

Yeah, but the bowling pins are probably cheaper than eggs right now unless you have a few hens.
