Any local to the Tulsa area do lower engraving?
Wes at Marking Masters in Collinsville is your guy. He's a member here as orangewes.
No luck locating business address or orangewes. Any additional info would be helpful.
Here you go:
He doesn't post very much but he responded to my pm pretty quickly.
Thanks for the followup. I was not having any luck.
Accurate Juno Engraving in Tulsa will do it too. I called several trophy / engraver's in the area and they pointed me to this guy.
I tried to go to JUNO but two things. A. He quoted me $75 B. He would not do by appointment and would need to leave it there for a week.
If you want to go to OKC for anything there is a sweet lady at Southwest Engravers off Classen. Call ahead to make sure they will be in. She does great work. It takes about 20 mins at most and you can wait while she does it. And its only $15. IMHO it is worth the drive down just for that.
I am waiting on the e-file form 1 that I submitted at the beginning of the month. I have a Sig P516 with a 10.5" barrel, and I want to put a standard Magpul stock on it. Do I need to have it engraved with my trust and location since it was originally designated as a pistol? If so, I will go to Southwest Engravers before making any changes to convert it to an SBR.
Ended up sending my out to veritas and having it engraved on the bottom of the magwell. Total cost ~60, turned around in about a week.
I used this guy...and will never do it again. Scratch Juno off the list. He did an absolutely terrible job. His engraving cracked the hard coat and I am embarrassed for even paying money for the job. My wife picked it up for me not knowing any better. I'll be paying a visit to this gentleman tomorrow. If I could edit my original post to remove even mentioning the place, I would.
