    Gorgeous rifle man! I have original wood, but it looks like a high school wood shop project, so the GI Fiberglass that came with it stays on it! :)

    What scope mount are you using there? Is it a Smith Ent?

    Sorry for the delay in responding.... I replaced the factory scope mount with a Sadlak aluminum mount and then added Leupold 30mm rings and a Leupold Mark 4 LR Tactical M3 Rifle Scope with the Illuminated Mil-Dot Recticle. I need to re-zero now that I added the new mount, so I'll post a range report once complete.

    LRB with all USGI H&R parts except the barrel which is chromed lined Criterion

    Also have a 1990 SA M1a that is TRW parts with a SAK barrel.

    Both mine are rack grade configuration with USGI fiberglass stocks.
