What caliber was it and full power, or target ammo?

.40 caliber, around 170-173 power factor using 180 grain fmj.

It could be. It was enough to keep me at a 5" barrel for myself.
I know lots of people love the long slides.

No he donated it to a fundraiser that Reba McEntire was hosting at the Cowboy Hall of Fame years ago. Don't know why I bought it, just trying to show up Bill Mathis I guess. He was bidding against me.

What’s something like that cost?
I like it, I know Dennis was a fan of all kinds of guns. I have a Smith 337 that I bought from his wife.

I would take $2250 for it. Dennis was killed in a car wreck here in Oklahoma back in 2016.
Have thought about putting it on Gunbroker to see how much it would bring just never seem to have the time

Man, I’d love to have it, but just can’t spend that kind of money on a gun right now, my wife thinks I need to tag her new car rather than get a gun.
