You didnt know about the trade agrement or many other "liberties" that are being stripped from you. It must be working. Did any of your non gun friends tell you about it? Nope.
This is a hoax, period.

First I've heard of it but that does not automatically allow one to assume it's a hoax. Why don't you write a letter explaining your interest in this to your representatives?

Everything they do is perfectly orchestrated. Just look at it outside the box, seriously please do and when you see what both sides are doing (not from fox news) you should see. Both parties are doing the same **** - if you look at the big picture.
No, I dont listen to Alex Jones.
A pure and simple fact is, just as many Dems like their guns as Repubs so neither side will support a ban of any sort.

If you really believe this is a hoax than more power to you. I for one know it's not. Do you actually believe that a branch of our government wouldnt try and screw us gun owners? That is all our crooked government tries to do. I have already sent 2 letters. I read the after action report on the website that will send the fax for you and it said that senator inhoffe only had 38 faxes. That ain't very many people getting active. I know there are way more People on here than 38 who care about that ammo. Get busy people. If we just sit back and do nothing we ain't gonna have any rights left. They will keep taking and taking. And as long as we let them take they will continue.

Because those that are not listening to faux news realize its another scare tactic like Bengazi or the birthers debate. All distractions. To lead us away from the real **** your not even aware of...that is in fact much more serious.
This wont happen, it will go away. Promise.

CHenry read all of this but pay particular attention to the last sentence. It's an excerpt from the dissenting statement by FCC Commissioners that voted correctly today.

A Republican Congress and a Democratic President enshrined in the Telecommunications Act of 1996 the principle that the Internet should be a “vibrant and competitive free market . . . unfettered by Federal or State regulation.” And dating back to the Clinton Administration, every FCC Chairman-Republican and Democrat-has let the Internet grow free from utility-style regulation. The results speak for themselves. But today, the FCC abandons those policies. It reclassifies broadband Internet access service as a Title II telecommunications service. It seizes unilateral authority to regulate Internet conduct, to direct where Internet service providers (ISPs) make their investments, and to determine what service plans will be available to the American public. This is not only a radical departure from the bipartisan, market-oriented policies that have served us so well for the last two decades. It is also an about-face from the proposals the FCC made just last May. So why is the FCC turning its back on Internet freedom? Is it because we now have evidence that the Internet is broken? No. We are flip-flopping for one reason and one reason alone. President Obama told us to do so.

Gun owners are NOT a small minority, lol. In fact we are a quite large majority. About 75 per 100 people per capita in the US own guns. Thats nearly 300,000,000 citizens that own a gun.
Gun owners are also a group of people who seem to keep an eye on Government meddling's in general. So we need distracting. The rest of the sheep just dont care.
Rest assured, this will go away soon just as quickly as it came up.

I hate to disagree with your numbers but America's total population is approximately 320 million. If 1/4 of those are under 18 then we are looking at approximately 238 million eligible owners. Based on several surveys only 50% of America's population own firearms. That would mean approximatly 119 million people own firearms. You might have a few more who had firearms but lied to the surveys. Given all of that, 119 million is still a good number of gun owners in America. Hopefully all of them are writing their Congressional representation and expressing their view on this ATF issue.
