Been over once, I was a little kid. The one thing I remember most is being on the snow lane. You're driving on grating. Look down and you see nothing but water under you. Kinda scary for a little kid.
As a very young kid the family lived on Drummond Island in UP Michigan,,,
I remember taking the ferry across the water many times.
I didn't know it then but my Uncle worked a crane during the construction of the bridge,,,
I do remember being very disappointed when the bridge opened up,,,
Taking the ferry boat was way cooler to my little self.
