Another thing is if you get alot of cardboard boxes without the wax film you can lay it down between the rows to control weeds and it will decompose during the year and just till it in the next spring

I have two places for stacks and add to it every now and then. I turn it from one stack to the other keeping leaves and twigs mixed up good in the grass clippings. Then I water it well and wait for the next month's turn. I get really black loam from it if I don't put any Okie dirt in it.
