The pistol looks like a glock but the grip looks different? The bass on the ground looks like 38 special, rimmed case. ?

Unless the firearm has been "altered" in some way to customize it, I don't think it even really looks like a Glock. If it is a Glock, it is a "generation" that I'm not familiar with.

But then, I don't know enough about other handguns to be able to determine what brand it really is.

The second car had time to avoid hitting the perp, but the heightened adrenaline level had already kicked in.

The "texture" on the handgrip is different from the image of a Glock 44 on their website. I don't know for sure, but maybe the lighting on the image of the perp's weapon makes it look different.

Fixed it. Bad headline. There were officers in those cars. He was shooting at the cops, not the cars.
