The way the article reads, I get the impression that the security guy shot the man just because he was playing his music too loud.

It is very short on details.

No one knows why the security guard pulled the trigger but the security guard so anything we might say would be speculation. That said, wargaming can be a useful exercise.

Fear and anger come from the same part of the brain, both the security guard and Motley could have been experiencing either or both emotions. Fear biting in dogs is a common occurrence, people are the same, typically human fear biting is done through verbalization or a thrown punch. When weapons are introduced into the equation the results can be far more serious.

I feel bad for both men, two lives destroyed over something so petty.
