Great read, hoping it happened at least once in real life (probably more than that)...on a serious note, I'm still thankful that my divorce finalized less than 2 weeks before I got the word that we were deploying in 2003, just divine intervention I guess!

I read a story somewhere about a Marine who got one while in Iraq. He asked all his buddies to give him a picture of their girlfriend and he packaged them up and sent them with a note: "I do not recall which one you are, can you just take your picture out and return the rest?" Genius.
