What always gets me is that the supposed temperature difference is generally reported as less than 2 or 3 degrees. The guy in the video stated less than 1 degree for a period of time in the past. What a lot of folks don't realize is that if the temperatures do increase, what that will do is allow a better or longer growing season for crops in the northern latitudes, thus more food available for people.

That's what the optimist thinks................the doom and gloom of Obama/Gore and their policies promote DEF, DPF, EGR nightmares, making folks pay more for diesel refined down to 5ppm diesel, making folks pay more for coal powered power plant renovations, tax dollars going to wind turbine and solar farms that rarely break even at best.........the list goes on, what a racket. Anything that uses diesel at any time during it's production or transport to the consumer costs more for the sake of "global melting". Farming, ranching, trains, ships, semis etc.

The models are only as good as the info plugged into them.

Yes, and I'd venture to guess that the majority of those "plugging in the numbers" are doing so with a particular outcome in mind. Some years back, some climate guy at an British university got his e-mails hacked. Come to find out, one of his messages to some like individuals in the U.S. stated that he had "adjusted" the raw data from the sources of the temperatures.

In another instance, one of the scientists working on the UN's IPCC report quit working with them. He stated that instead of all the scientists getting to "peer review" the entire document, they were just given ONE PAGE of the report to "peer review."

So, anytime someone wants to use the IPCC report as their argument, I bring that up to them.

It's all about generating tax money for governments. With collusion like the Paris Accord between governments they generate their own climate model to put taxes like carbon tax or fuel taxes to fund the liberal governments.
Then they say only conservatives don't support global warming. Well Duh, the conservatives are against big government and higher taxes as a basis of their beliefs. We can see through the fluff into the facts.
The facts aren't hard to find.
