I think I paid $150 for mine in '76. Sounds like I could make a nice profit on it, but it is one I'll never sell.

I believe this auction is legit, because Marlins are bringing crazy money right now. I saw a pre safety 1894 357 sell on a message board for $1500.

Back in the mid 1990s I was at a gunshow in OKC. I bought a Glenfield Marlin from another guy that was walking around with it.

I gave him $180 for it.

Everyone around me watching the negotiation walked away shaking their head, amazed that I gave so much for it.

I still have it. Smooth action, very accurate, not for sale.
