Marlin 39A Sights

I lucked into buying an mid 80's vintage Marlin 39A for a great price. The only problem is it has a Tasco scope mounted. I'd like to install some peep sights of some kind but I'm having trouble finding anything for a 39A. Will the ones for a 336 work and has anyone mounted some after market sights on a 39A and if so what kind and where can I find them?

you can buy a williams fp-39-tk for $72 or a lyman 66 for $99 from brownell's or look for these models cheaper on ebay or gunbroker.

williams 5A or williams foolproof. the lyman 66mc looks like a nice sight also.

just checked out the skinner. for $59, it looks like a winner. the lyman will set you back near $100.
