Marlin XS7

Does anyone have one or has shot one of these rifles?I was thinking of picking one up just because of the price and some of the articles, but most of those are done by people paid by the manufacturer anyway.

My Son bought an XL7, in '06, last year and is very happy with it. He shot an 8 point, this season, and the rifle performed perfectly. It really seems like a nice gun. If I remember, the price was $270-ish.
