Meat slicer recommendations

On FB Marketplace, there's a Hobart meat slicer listed for $200. Needs to be cleaned up but might be worth a look. Hobart makes the commercial stuff.

My parents gave me a “heavy duty” meat slicer from Cabelas about 20 years ago, and it still works great.

I would give you more specs, but it’s at my other house.

I'm on the hunt for 1 myself there's a nice used Hobart on craigslist, $500. I tried snagging it with a gun trade but they declined. You know of course the specialty shops are going to be higher. Fb or cl for a bargain.

So after burning up 3 plus hours of a day and $30 in travel. I was screwed by a individual. I went to look at a hobart 1612 that was broken and missing parts.
Its looking like I'll purchase the beswood 250 or beswood 10 inch. Probably amazon but I'll shop around once I'm ready.

I ended up going with the Beswood 250 on Amazon... Worked great, but I do wish the carriage was a little larger (had to trim down the slabs quite a bit to fit).

Our propane Turkey fryer came from there. 100 percent stainless and it was fair priced.
