Things that help make our lives easier during prepping and reloading, one is the simple
media separator.

I am sure many here built their own from junk laying around.
I just built one from 2 Five gallon buckets.
You can swirl your hand through the brass to tumble them and remove media.
Or shake and turn the upper bucket while it is still in the lower bucket.
Media falls through holes in upper bucket and caught in lower bucket.
Too simple not to make your own.

Now if any of my 5 gal buckets were anywhere near clean...

Notice the small holes in that bucket and the dirty bottom.
It had tow chains in it and I had to scrub oil and rust and mud out of it.

I stop on the side of the road and get buckets and other stuff out of the ditches..Yea I am a picker.
Daylight donuts and other small places will usually have buckets they will give you.

All mine are from oilfield with unremovable stuff in them. Ill have to look for some 3 gal buckets.

I use the RCBS media separator. Best $30 I spent in a long time. Keeps the dust, with all the bad stuff out of the air in the shop.
