I taught my 2 year old grandson how to unlock all house doors and last month he learned knife skills.
Door too heavy to pull open find a rope and loop it around the knob and start pulling and jerking.
AH I guess that would be rope skills also.
I taught him to take a hollow tube like a short 2 foot PVC pipe and put something (projectile) down it and swing it and the
projectile will fly out of the end really fast.
He got pretty accurate in just a couple minutes. Tried to take grandma out!
I am not so much on sweetening him up as making him skillful.
He is pretty good at working a reloading press arm and seating bullets and sizing them.
We have been working on screwdriver skills.
He has the electric leaf blower down pat.
I keep getting push back from other adults but I am tougher than they are and when they see him work with things they realize the boy is doing fine.
Now if he would quit crapping his diaper.
