Discussions like these are always controversial. Legality and morality, right and wrong, good versus evil, the rights of the victim and the rights of the accused. Having worked in FD/LE for a career, I’ve seen the things people do to each other and they aren’t pretty. You aren’t human by any means if you don’t have feelings one way or the other. My personal feelings lead me to sympathize with the victim. What justice is there when someone shoots an 18 year old twice then buries her alive and then lives years afterwards after conviction with free food, medical care, no bills and free legal defense? And then, it’s considered cruel to HIM that he suffered when executed. Roger Dale Stafford is a good example. It took seventeen years from the time he killed six victims in the Sirloin Stockade in Oklahoma City to execute him. His wife turned on him and he is alleged to have murdered 34 people in seven states. Justice was served but extremely slow. Im done. Now let’s get back to Glock vs 1911, 9mm vs 40 S&W vs 45 ACP and Ford vs Chevy. Oh, I forgot to add 45 GAP for the real haters out there. And....45 ACP with small primer pockets.
