There are tons of legal Mexican immigrants in OK so this really doesn't seem like wild news.

It seems not only smart, but necessary, for the OK GOP to try courting legal Mexicans as voters. Most Mexican immigrants are fairly conservative, the men seem to like wearing Carhartt/Dickies and driving domestic pickups, and let's be honest they're doing all the hard labor jobs that keep people grounded to reality.

And you know what they aren't? Pink haired, soyboys, college educated marxist, trans activists who want to groom your kids into becoming queer.
That's the thinking many in the GOP like to lean on, but statistics don't bare that out. At all. Seems their stepping foot on the "magic dirt" doesn't turn them into Constitutional Conservatives.

You should read my other/later reply in the thread, which explains it in more detail.

Most countries, especially the USA, have consulates and embassies in virtually every other country in the world. They have nothing to do with an invasion. They are primarily for trade issues and other legal issues that involve THEIR citizens and/or business ventures.

Also to provide cushy jobs for political donors, but your explanation is correct.

This, like most post on this subject, deliberately confuse legal, and illegal Mexican immigrants. No one that I know is against legal Mexican immigrants! This is simply a ploy to justify their argument, that is not, and never was true! I have visited Mexico many times. and can fully understand why these poor people would what to leave, and have a REAL chance at a better life! The US and Mexaco evolved at the same time, and place. Why did the US become a nation with the highest standard of living in HUMAN HISTORY, and the destination of choice for the worlds poor, down trodden, and hopeless people? At the very same time Mexico became a Banana Republic, where .01% of the political elite have 90% of the countries wealth, and power, while everyone else lives in hopeless poverty, and fear, where every government official from the beat cop, to the president, are on the take? In my opinion the answer is simple, THE RULE OF LAW, NOT MEN! If we ignore the rule of law, to accommodate ANYONE, OR GROUP, FOR ANY REASON, ARE WE NOT BECOMING JUST LIKE THE PLACE THEY ARE FLEEING? How is it FAIR to run illegal immigrants ahead of legal immigrants, that are doing it by the LAW? What does that say about the rule of law, not men!

Here, but occasionally There.
To tell a somewhat funny event, with the company that we do our Summer job with, two teams went to Austin, TX back in February or March. Our work vans have cameras facing the front of the van and another at the rear. Some of the vans even have yet another camera in the back.

Anyway, as we pulled up to the hotel to check in upon arrival, an older Hispanic gentleman saw our vans and proceeded to immediately enter the hotel. We noted later that he was an employee of the hotel. I guess he thought we were the government out searching for illegals.
