Michigan pastor with 8 DUI arrests gets booked again

I seriously don't understand it all.

Supposedly the guy drove away from sheriff's deputies and hit a building, then turned his vehicle around and ran into their patrol car.
Michigan TV station says :
"Court records show Jones has had eight drinking and driving offenses on his record. Police believe he was drunk in the [most recent] incident as well."
The man identified himself as a pastor to an attorney.
He's being held on $1 million bond.

Used to be a joke about every good Baptist needs a Methodist buddy they can go drinking with. Sounds like he needs one because he can’t drive for Jack when he’s drinking.

Other than the morality of being an alcoholic and driving drunk as a preacher, that fact should have nothing to do with the arrest. He's a citizen and driving drunk. Deal with him accordingly.
