HAs anyone used this powder for 30 cal loads ( 30/06, 7.62x54 ) most of the postings I found on other sites (castbots ,handloader, etc) has been for 338 or larger bore rounds .

I think you might have a hard time finding data for anything smaller than RUM or Lapua cartridges. These powders just burn too slow for the 30-06 family of rounds. I have thought about trying it for my 7MM Mag but haven't found any data for that either.

No data is available because it's too slow for 30 cal cartridges. I've even tried it in a 300win mag with poor to awful results. Had decent success in a .50 cal though, so gave it to my brother.

Those who havd used it said they duplex the loads--2-3 gr of an fast powder over the flash hole to light off the 867/872 , and they used a case of 867/870 for the big bore loads . It mit work better in a 500 HH exp. These two powders are pull downs from 50bmg and 20 mill shells.

I have looked at those 2 powders a lot the past year. I have read about the duplex loads from some of the old buffalo bullet shooters, I just can't get myself to step that far out on a limb yet.
If you do find a duplex load that works well please share your findings.

I use WC867 in my 338 Lapua Magnum reloads. It has a burn rate similar to AA8700 powder and can be safely used following AA8700 data.

I use WC867 in 338 RUM, .264 WinMag, 26 Nosler, 22/243 Win.
It works fine in "overbore" chambers, and gets better with heavy for caliber bullets. In the 26 Nosler, 264 WM it works great. It's not quite as fast in the 22/243 as H1000 but accuracy is excellent.
