Exactly. Buddy's son was in the sand box and they had multiple mag failures.
He personally send several dozen Pmags to his son to replace the defective mags.
Pmags used to be in the military acquisition system and got deleted.
We had a thread about why years ago, but I don't remember why the military did that. Had to be a brother in law thing.
StanAg magazines are still cheaper than Pmags and function just as well as Pmags. U just cant run over a StanAg magazine with a HMMWV and expect it to work
IIRC Gen 1 Pmags had a problem with splitting and Gen 2s had a problem with the base plate popping off if dropped since the base plate slid forward and not rearward. Gen 3s are great but StanAgs are still cheaper
