Minneapolis City Council ABOLISHES Police, Gets Private Security!
I’ve often said that if demonrats didn’t have double standards then they wouldn’t have any.
Can't believe Youtube hasn't blocked that hate speech.
If they defund and abolish the police they should do the same with security. The cost of security for three people far outweigh the cost of over a dozen officers at a decent wage.
The people of the city should make demands and refuse to pay for their security.
The talk is about directing resources to mental health not military stuff for the local police. Get a grip guys. The police don't need and cannot afford MRAP's. Trump has made plain he can and will use the military for law enforcement...that should get the job done.
Anyone wanna help me start my new business...
I want to build Mad Max vehicles. I believe there will be a very healthy market for it soon.
Not just mad max vehicles, mobile survival shelters. Take something like that vehicle some storm chasers were using that pushes rods into the ground so it can't be flipped, is armored, has room for 4-6 people and storage for food, ammo, firearms, etc. Maybe, if enough room, a toilet and deployable solar panels for off grid power. Use diesel fuel since it can be manufactured much easier than gas. Use good ole fashion motors instead of today's high tech ones so easier to work on.
And just what effect would that have?
No effect at all.
Because the demands of the public have no teeth,,,
The rules are and always have been written by those in power,,,
They have written those rules to make it all but impossible to force them to do anything.
Call me cynical but that's the way it is,,,
Nothing short of armed rebellion will change it.
I throw in a huff post link for the snowflakes
Has to go to public vote first. Their charter stipulates a set number of police officers. If the charter isn't changed, they can't get rid of the police department.
The charter states that the City Council “must fund a police force of at least 0.0017 employees per resident, and provide for those employees’ compensation.”
