missing hiker story

Seems the right place to post this. Anyone else think she was out whoring it up for 2 weeks before she was found.

All accounts point to the fact that she is telling stories that don’t match. It’s been my experience that usually adds up to someone doing something they shouldn’t have been.

In the 6th grade I ran away from home was gone for 2 weeks before I ate an under cooked turtle that done me in.
I was doing fine until then.
Small fish and crawfish and frogs.
I lived in a hole I dug with a spoon. and made a trap door from sticks and brush like a trap door spider.

I would think an adult could do better than I did back then.
I associated with no one and no one knew where I was.
I washed at night in a creek my self and my clothes with sand and lots of rinsing, No soap.
I was not smelly and neither were my clothes.

Anything is possible.
When I go into the deer woods I do not take food or water with me like many do.
There is usually food and water in there somewhere.
Of course I will be in there only 10 hours or so.

The stream she was found nearby had so much bad bacteria in it that if she used it for a water source, she would have been dead in days. Yet she walked out under her own power with no assistance. BS story.

@swampratt, from what I read here you are by far the most resourceful person I've ever heard of. I can imagine that you could survive better in the sixth grade than most adults could have, then or now.
